Role: Procurement eSourcing Specialist

Salary: €55-70k + 15% bonus + package

Location: Amsterdam or Dublin (They are happy for someone to be based in either location)

Flexible Working: 2-3 days' work from home

If you've got experience running e-Sourcing/e-Auction events and are based in either Amsterdam or Dublin, this could be the role for you. This pivotal role will be responsible for a variety of topics in the eSourcing workspace for the region across Europe and Asia. The eSourcing Specialist will work with various Procurement teams across Europe and Asia as well as various regional category teams to support the preparation, execution, evaluation and awarding of eSourcing projects (RFPs, reverse Auctions).

You'll be tasked with establishing and maintaining relations with other procurement functions as well as educating colleagues in the use of the processes and systems within procurement's BAU (Business As Usual) operations to enable all levels of procurement to work transparently, efficiently and effectively. The role will report directly to the Head of Procurement Excellence Europe & Asia and dotted line to the Head of eSourcing and Market Intelligence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of a regional team of 8 members, you will be responsible for a number of evolving tasks including:

  • Ensure the consistent application of eSourcing systems and tools to support driving savings delivery and achieve process excellence in collaboration with various stakeholders across the regional and country Procurement organizations
  • Supporting the regional category- and operational teams with setting up, executing and evaluating eSourcing events (RFPs and E-Auctions)
  • Drive the E-Sourcing key-user community in Europe/Asia (e.g. by running E-Sourcing Workshops) to maintain and further solidify relationships with the super user community
  • Support the implementation of standardized E-Sourcing solution across the region (e.g. Coupa CSO, SAP Ariba)
  • Contributing to further development of the E-Sourcing tool-set as required
  • Support the preparation and (co-)conducting a range of training for E-Sourcing related topics
  • Drive the adoption and integration of E-Sourcing principles into procurement processes and decisions
  • Working in close cooperation with the regional category and operational teams to ensure consistent implementation of the E-Sourcing processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Experience running e-Sourcing/e-Auction events a must
  • Your professional experience should ideally include 1-3 yrs. demonstrable experience in procurement
  • You'll also possess proven exposure and involvement with international transformational projects
  • Fluent written and verbal English is a must and other languages (e.g., French, Polish) will be considered a plus
  • Key competencies required for this role include excellent analytic and problem-solving skills and being attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Excel and the ability to travel across the region
