Role: Procurement Data & AI Analyst
Location: Amsterdam

Introduction
A leading global institution is seeking a Procurement Data & AI Analyst to help scale a modern, data-driven procurement function in Amsterdam. This role is ideal for an analytically minded professional who enjoys turning complex operational data into insight, automation, and smarter decision-making. The position combines hands on analytics with the opportunity to embed AI and automation into core business processes within a fast-paced, technical environment.
Responsibilities
Own and improve procurement data across systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong controls
Build and deliver analytics, dashboards, and reporting to provide clear visibility of spend and supplier performance
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities
Design and deploy AI driven solutions and automated workflows to improve efficiency and decision making
Partner with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Legal stakeholders to align data, policies, and reporting
Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on simplification, automation, and scalable ways of working
Act as a key point of contact on data, reporting, and system related procurement topics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, operations, data analytics, finance, or supply chain
3 to 7 years of experience in analytics, operations, consulting, or a related role, ideally within a data rich environment
Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools
Hands on experience building AI powered agents, automation, or advanced analytics solutions
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and governance
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Experience with tools such as Coupa, Databricks, N8N, Cursor, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred
