Job Title: Procurement Business Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote (UK Wide)

Rate: £550 p/d (£550 p/d PAYE / Umbrella rate TBC)

Job Description:

Role Purpose:
* The role-holder will take ownership of business activities, support Procurement Sourcing Category Leadership with non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as reporting and short term initiatives.
* The role holder role is expected to possess knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes in the context of the business area they are located in, but are not expected to have specific product knowledge relating to the business or function in which they are located.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
o Must be able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
o Able to build excellent working relationships across all Business units
o Strong commercial skills
o Prior experience in annual planning cycles and management against plan
o Excellent influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills to all levels
o Experience in managing operational risks through close monitoring and continuous improvement
o Self-starter, able to identify activities required in order to meet the needs of the Business unit
o Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data
o Strong written and oral communication skills
o Change management experience preferred
