Role: Procurement Manager - Third-Party Risk Management (Financial Services)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands

Hybrid: Flexible hours, ideally 2-3 days per week in the office

Salary: €80-95k + bonus & package

Excellent opportunity to progress your career within a cutting-edge team in a leading financial services organisation as a Procurement and Third-Party Risk Manager (TPRM). You'll drive global operational resilience, enhance and integrate the TPRM framework and Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) regulations into current policies and procedures, work closely with vendors globally and educate fellow managers on Third-Party Management. Know your Customer (KYC) and Know your Vendor (KYV) will also be a core part of this role.

  • Risk Management: Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating third-party risks, including comprehensive risk assessments and the development risk mitigation strategies.
  • Relationship (Vendor) Management: Proficient in establishing and maintaining strategic vendor relationships in line with organizational goals and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable about relevant regulations and financial industry standards, ensuring strict adherence across all vendor relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Capable of assessing vendor performance, risk, and resilience, and reporting issues affecting operations or reputation.
  • Collaboration: Effective collaboration with internal teams and external providers to achieve common objectives, necessitating strong communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Vendor or Third-Party Risk Manager, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience conducting Vendor Due Diligence assessments, assurance report assessments and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes (P2P) or Workday preferred
  • Ability to adapt to the fast-paced asset management sector, incorporating innovative solutions for third-party management and operational resilience.
  • A proactive 'can do' mentality, eager to contribute to organizational success, and adept at working in a collaborative small team environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Dutch and English a bonus.
