Procurement and Contract Manager - up to £44k per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join this public sector organisation based in Central London. You will contribute to the successful overall performance of the organisation and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
Develop effective ways of working and create strong partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders
Proactively and positively contribute to the achievement of deliverables through individual and team effort.
Support team members to deliver on their functionally relevant objectives through offering advice, guidance and support as appropriate
Ensure that approved budgets are spent effectively and in accordance with agreed procedures
Establish and maintain strategic links with a range of external partners/stakeholders or manage the links made through the team.
To take the lead in all relevant internal and external meetings to raise the profile and improve service delivery of the procurement function.
To take the lead for the procurement process by delivering a portfolio of complex and high value contracts
To ensure, compliance with all relevant legislation, advising and supporting stakeholders in the processes required, identifying areas for future investigation and bringing best value and quality outcomes of the participating client trusts
Provide specialist strategic procurement knowledge across a broad spectrum of commodity areas
Lead tender adjudication meetings and supplier meetings (pre and post tender) acting as chair person or secretary as required
Take an active role in the development and delivery of the annual Procurement work plan implementing policy throughout activity
Deputise in the absence of the Head of Procurement
