Procurement Digital & Analytics Lead

Our client, a Major FMCG organisation is now seeking an individual who has strong Digital Procurement and analytics skills to join a procurement function undergoing a large transformation programme. You will develop the Procurement digital and analytics strategy and obtain the approval and budget to build and run the analytics, which will include extensive investigation into data analytics, leading and delivering a digital roadmap for procurement.

The Role:

Build a digital roadmap leveraging insights from the company, other organisations and external sources

Align the strategy and roadmap with key stakeholders in the business

Lead the successful implementation of the roadmap

Formalise the scope of the Analytics team with the Procurement Leadership

Shape the project plan and build the team with both internal and external resources as required

Identify requirements and gaps to achieve the Procurement aims and support the broader future operating model across all Procurement categories and support functions globally

The Procurement Digital and Analytics strategy will cover the total procurement spend of several billion and is seen as a key enabler to delivering the next wave of cost reductions in procurement

Managing projects across all of the procurement functions

Build the capabilities as defined by the target operating model for a large element of the future

Build, recruit, implement and manage the team that will run the capability in steady state

The Person:

Ideally University Degree or equivalent, with relevant experience in Procurement, analytics or systems biased discipline

An understanding of how value is created through Procurement / Data / Analytics

Leadership role in Procurement in a blue chip organisation

Experience of developing a digital and analytics strategy in a complex environment

Stakeholder and cross-business function management

Experience of leading projects or programmes
