Role: Marketing Procurement Manager

Salary: Up to £60K + Package

Location: Southampton (3 days p/w in the office)

Are you a Marketing Procurement professional with experience of developing Global Sourcing Strategy and leading complex end to end Sourcing projects across Media, Creative and Production categories? This is the perfect role if you are passionate about Marketing Procurement - and thrive on designing and delivering category strategies in fast moving, product led, consumer facing, organisations.

Role:

As the Marketing Procurement Manager, you will:

- take end to end ownership of the commercial and sourcing strategy for the Marketing Category - spanning the Media, Creative and Production categories

- build effective relationships with the key Marketing stakeholders spanning a number of de-centralised Marketing teams. In turn, you will nurture and develop these relationships in order to drive collaboration through consensus in order to deliver innovation and improved value for the business

- utilise strong commercial acumen to create clear and compelling category plans - balancing cost, quality, and risk

- independently and autonomously execute these category plans using strategic sourcing methodology to deliver best commercial and operational outcomes including cost and working capital improvement

Experience:

- Significant Marketing Procurement Category experience, encompassing Media, Creative & Production

- Excellent track record of engaging and influencing key Marketing stakeholders in a fast paced, B2C organisation

- Evidence of developing and implementing Marketing category plans and strategies

- Ideally some experience in the nurturing and mentoring of team members

- Legal awareness of contract risks & experience of drafting bespoke contract terms

- Degree qualified (or equivalent)
