I am supporting a manufacturing company operating across multiple industries such as technology, manufacturing, amongst others. The company is going through a transformation and looking to invest in their IT procurement team to implement new SAP and other IT tools

The ideal candidate for this role would have several years' experience purchasing IT and IT services & systems (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, ERP, Ariba, other IT licences) or professional services & indirect

Responsibilities:

• You will take full responsibility for IT sourcing and the purchase of relevant IT commodities with the spend of €65 million.
• Maintain current supplier relationships and expand the portfolio through cross functional coordination
• You will be working internationally and with cross functional projects
• Responsible for the procurement and acquisition to development services, IT, software, indirect services
• Conduct supplier negotiations to generate cost savings
• Analyze project requirements to determine the appropriate and correct software requirements
• Conduct an analysis and create offer analysis reports and conduct supplier selection activities for the assigned categories
• Conduct supplier nomination activities and contract management

Your profile:

• Fluent in English & German
• 3 years' professional experience in purchasing - preferably in the automotive/manufacturing/IT industry
• Degree in Business is preffered
• Willingness to travel 20%
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
