Multinational Aerospace & Aviation company based in Paris, France are looking for a Lead Buyer to join their procurement team. The company has 10 production plants globally and currently going through a global transformation and they are planning to open new plants across Asia and North America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for €100 million spend across different commodities and work with cross functional teams globally.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for €100 million spend
• In charge of different commodities
• Strategically collaborate with the cross-functional teams to influence and create unique purchasing methods
• Work directly with R&D to create unique and innovative products
• Play an important part in the global transformation and delivering global projects
• Reporting directly to purchasing director & CPO
• 30% travel, Europe, China, South & North America

Skills Experience Required

• Relevant degree, mechanical engineering or MBA is preferred
• 3+ years of experience preferably from the industrial or automotive background
• Successful track record in purchasing and negotiations with suppliers globally
• Experience with purchasing direct materials such as: metals, forging, tooling, MRO, Capex, raw materials
• Fluent in English and French
