Role LCA Analyst - Aquaculture

Location Stavanger (Norway), or Amersfoort (the Netherlands), or a hybrid model can be discussed

Salary Up to 65k + attractive benefits

About you

You are curious and eager to learn about the latest trends in the LCA world and able to translate this to the business. You have a healthy dose of pragmatism and relate to the fact that we are an agri- and aqua- business by heart.

You can analyze a situation or problem by sifting through the details to focus on the root cause. You are a master in balancing scientific robustness and business applicability. You are comfortable being the driver of change

Ideally, you will have 1-3 years of experience with conducting LCAs in specific software solutions (preferably SimaPro).

About the role

you will be responsible to further develop our understanding and execute an action plan to detail and reduce environmental footprint (carbon, water, land use, etc.).

You will be working together with the global procurement, sustainability, innovation, and commercial teams. Key responsibilities are:

  • Collect, update, and improve inventory data (primary and secondary) based on methods consistent with the business, LCA standards and industry best practices in order to perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) in SimaPro;
  • Setting up and conducting LCAs of the raw material purchases, sold products and on the organization itself
  • Build and maintain databases with relevant footprint information, link them to other data systems, and develop automated reporting.
