Job Title: Procurement Contract Manager - NEC Construction

Client: Public Sector - major heritage building

Rate: £400-£500 p/d inside IR35

Contract Length: 6-months

Location: Central London (hybrid working)

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team, providing commercial support and excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage critical Works Framework agreements, covering general construction, conservation and heritage, mechanical, electrical, public health, fire and structural, and architectural and engineering services.
  • Investigate and resolve disputes, providing constructive feedback and ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Directly manage specific Works Frameworks to ensure best value from contracts.
  • Support the development and management of an active pipeline of contract renewals and replacements, collaborating with category teams for effective scheduling and timely re-procurement.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Contract Management within the public sector, including working with NEC and framework contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage and address poor performance and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Strong understanding of contract management best practices and supplier relationship management, with the ability to communicate these concepts to non-expert audiences.
  • Ideally, CIPS Level 5 qualification.
