IT Supplier Manager (SRM) - £85k

A FTSE-listed, aggressively growing, new bank is looking for dynamic, experienced IT Supplier Managers to join a greenfield function and play a key role in shaping their supplier strategies.

This small, but developing environment will offer huge experience working closely with senior stakeholders, and direct involvement in business-critical decision making.

This role is paying up to £85k plus package and is based in London.

Role:

The jobholder will be an expert in the field of Vendor, Supplier or Contracts Management, demonstrating experience of managing a portfolio of Tier 1 IT & Technology vendors - including the likes of Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, Google and Wipro.

This is a newly created role, sat within a newly created Supplier Management function and with a dotted line into the Group Procurement function. The jobholder will lead the development and implementation of vendor management capability, educating internal customers on the supplier management strategies. Key to your success in this role will be the ability to create 'strategic' relationships with the key IT & Technology vendors, whilst taking ownership for the pricing/discount structures, rules of engagement and the associated governance models.

The jobholder will play a key role in the continued development and optimisation of SRM process, policy and tools which ensure a consistent approach to external vendor management.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will present commercial Supplier Management skills - gained in the IT & Technology space:
* Track-record of driving post-contract value from Tier 1 Vendors in the IT & technology space
* Ability to support the development of Sourcing & Supplier Management strategy for the Group IT function
* Excellent Negotiation and Communication skills
* Knowledge of Cloud based Technologies (AWS, Google) as well as key vendors such as Oracle, Microsoft, Netapp, VMWare, Citrix, Wipro and TCS
* Degree and MCIPS preferred
