Role: IT Services & Consultancy Buyer

Location: West London - Uxbridge

Salary: Up to £70K + Bonus + Private Health

Excellent opportunity to join a a global corporate with great heritage and a progressive outlook. You'll be involved across a breadth of projects closely associated with IT services and Contracts.

This is an exciting role that offers the potential to take the next step in your career and develop from a Buyer to a Category Manager bringing your excellent stakeholder management skills, communication and commercial acumen to help deliver wider corporate strategy and vision.

  • Support & assist the IT and Consultancy Category Procurement, in close relation with both local and regional internal clients in IT and Business Services, to optimize Suppliers delivered value for the business in line with functional, business & group objectives
  • Support category strategy development and optimisation of synergies, assist in the development of best-in-class Supplier Relationship Management and identify potential innovation for the business

Help create category strategies to identify key areas for improvement, rationalise suppliers, create framework agreements and bring stakeholders together from different streams within the business while also managing multiple projects.

Experience Required:

  • Procurement expertise within IT indirect Purchasing and Corporate Environments
  • Knowledge & experience of Indirect categories and managing relationships with suppliers
  • Drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions especially services & contracts.
  • Drafting and development of performance metrics (SLAs and KPIs).
  • Market & Supplier analysis.
  • Proven experience of developing and managing strong relationships with end-users, senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Presenting business cases and strategy recommendation to Board level.
  • Able to lead & manage multiple priorities / projects effectively & efficiently without compromise to quality
