IT Senior Procurement Buyer - £60k

Role: IT Senior Procurement Buyer

Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE, plus benefits package including an annual performance bonus, life insurance, and a generous pension scheme.

Location: Wokingham

This role is ideal for a candidate demonstrating end-to-end IT Procurement experience who is motivated by the opportunity to be a key player within a "Greenfield" Procurement capability! Our client presents a fantastic start-up opportunity, as part of a divestment of a major UK utilities infrastructure provider, with the remit to provide the operating system for green and renewable energy, playing a key role in the UK's ambition to deliver net-zero capacity by 2050.

You will provide support in driving Procurement value and the hands-on delivery of sourcing projects end-to-end. The role will be an important contributor to the transition and transformation of the function, involving platform changes, Transition Service Agreements, and contract consolidation.

You will create insights for Category Management planning, gather data on spend performance and analysis, interacting closely with the group CIO and across the Leadership Team.

Requirements:

• Strong, hands-on IT Procurement and contract management experience.
• Experience in relevant categories e.g. Hardware, Software, Infrastructure, or Devops.
• Public sector experience, with familiarity of PCR and / or UCR.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders up to Senior Leadership level.
• Track Record running big, complex, tender processes.
