IT Procurement Specialist

Location: South Norfolk
Hybrid: Only 2 days pw in office
Sector: Pharmaceutical / Healthcare
Salary: £35-40k + benefits and a clear progression potential

We're working exclusively with a high-growth, multi-national group operating hundreds of sites across two countries. This is a well-established, fast-moving organisation with annual revenues in the hundreds of millions and investing heavily in its IT infrastructure to support operational excellence across all sites.

As part of a wider procurement transformation, we are helping them identify an IT Procurement Specialist to support a broad portfolio of IT goods and services - from hardware and software to telecoms, licensing, and managed services.

This is an ideal role for someone with strong stakeholder management experience, who enjoys working in a hands-on, multi-vendor environment with tangible scope to drive cost savings, improve SLAs, and shape future procurement strategies.

The Opportunity

Reporting into a likeable Procurement Manager and working closely with the IT Director, you'll:

  • Lead procurement initiatives for IT equipment, software, and services
  • Collaborate with a breadth of stakeholders to define requirements
  • Own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle - from specification to contract negotiation
  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and license compliance
  • Assist in IT budgeting, forecasting, and supplier reporting
  • Help maintain a central contract repository and ensure compliance with policies
  • Support wider non-clinical procurement activity, inbox management, and occasional contract negotiations

Your Background

We're looking for someone who can bring:

  • Solid IT procurement experience (hardware, software, services)
  • Familiarity with licensing models
  • Awareness of data protection, security, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders
