Role: IT Procurement Manager - £45K (London)

Salary: Up to £45K + Excellent Benefits

Location: Central London (2 to 3 days p/w in office)

Do you consider yourself to be a "talent of the future" in IT & Technology Procurement? Our client, a leading UK 'Blue-Chip', is looking to recruit a hungry and ambitious IT Buyer who is able to demonstrate a broad commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and value creation.

Role:
The jobholder will support a team of Category Managers and Commercial Contract manager - assisting with the end to end procurement of IT and Technology including Software, Hardware, Telco, Cloud, Hosting and Infrastructure. With a large pipeline of imminent projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of Procurement skills including spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, contract negotiation, as well as post-contract supplier performance and contractual adherence. The jobholder will be expected to support the full lifecycle sourcing process providing value analytical expertise across the RFX process. In turn, it is expected that the jobholder supports the supplier relationship management of business-critical, Tier 1, IT & Technology vendors.

Experience:
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the procurement function of a prestigious 'Blue-Chip' organisation. Ideally, you will have a desire to undertake the CIPS qualification, and to pursue procurement as a career.

• Demonstrates some experience of operating in a Buyer or Senior Buyer capacity for IT and Technology.
• Experience of using e-sourcing tools (ideally SAP)
• Analytical and logical nature, highly numerate with demonstrable experience of using Excel
• Confident communicator with an inquisitive mindset
• Ideally Degree qualified
