IT Procurement Manager - up to £55,000 per annum - 9 month contract

An IT Procurement Manager is required for an Independent not for profit organisation based in London.

The role

This role will support all stakeholders with external contractual commitments and identify high value for money savings through accurate management information, planning and maintaining pre defined stakeholder profiles and working alongside the Commercial Procurement Managers to ensure team and directorate objectives are met.

You will be responsible for the implementation of procurement best practices, market insight, developing category strategy and sourcing plans.

You will build relationships with the wider business and deliver excellent customer service to key stakeholders and the wider business.

Develop cost models for input into any bids or sales contract proposals and productively challenge end users requirements for cost effectiveness

Resolve contractual problems and ensure continuous review and improvement of procurement activity.

Requirements

Currently working towards MCIPS or equivalent

Strong IT procurement experience

Detailed knowledge and understanding of UK Procurement Regulations and EU procurement directives

Experienced in a broad range of sourcing strategies and knowledge managing IT services categories
