Salary: Up to £55K + an attractive package

Location: UK wide - flexible working with some travel required to one of my client's core hubs

Are you a driven IT Procurement professional looking to fast-track your career? Our client, a leading UK 'Blue-Chip', is looking to recruit an IT Procurement Manager within Group Procurement. This is a fantastic development role for an individual with strong IT Procurement experience, and with a desire to fast-track their career in a Procurement function undergoing significant transformation and up-skilling.

Role:
You will work closely with Senior Executives, on major contracts for the procurement of IT Goods and Services (including Software, Cyber Security and SaaS, Cloud and Emerging Technology). With a large pipeline of imminent projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of Procurement skills including spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, contract negotiation, as well as post-contract supplier performance and contractual adherence. The jobholder will be expected to support the full lifecycle sourcing process providing value analytical expertise across the RFX process.

Experience:
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the procurement function of a prestigious 'Blue-Chip' organisation who can provide excellent training, career progression and opportunities for international mobility:

  • 5-7 years' Procurement experience, with particular experience working with large, complex contracts for IT Goods and Services, including SaaS Provision, Emerging Technologies and Cloud.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment identifying, mitigating, and resolving IT risk.
  • Confident engaging with and influencing senior-level stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Experience developing relationships with and managing major IT suppliers.
