Salary: Up to £55k + 4k Car Allowance + discretionary bonus + **Excellent Benefits** (pro-rata)

Are you an ambitious IT Procurement professional? This is a fantastic opportunity to support complex projects across the Software, Digital, Cyber and Networks/Infrastructure portfolio's on a contract basis.

This is an excellent time for an individual with solid IT procurement experience, and with a desire to join a fast paced IT procurement function undergoing significant transformation, moving the dial from a risk adverse business to a commercially driven organisation where Procurement & SRM are at the forefront of the organisations strategy to drive value and reduce costs for both internal and external customers alike. A great position for someone who has experience gained in IT Procurement looking for the flexiblity found in contract work.

Candidates need to live or be in commutable distance to one of these location (Bristol / Gloucester/Edinburgh/London) for a visit to office once per month. There are flexible working arrangements to work from one of these base locations and working from home.

Role: - Technology

The jobholder will play a key role in the Procurement of IT services on a group wide basis - with specific alignment to the IT category portfolio. The jobholder will lead full lifecycle sourcing projects - coaching and managing key stakeholders through all stages of and end to end Procurement process, from opportunity identification, through RFX, supplier negotiation and contract drafting/signature. The jobholder support the supplier relationship management of business critical, IT vendors helping drive value, performance and operational efficiency in line with contractual KPI's and SLA's.

Experience:

• IT Procurement experience with demonstrable success in any IT category
• Confident communicator with an engaging personality - capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across all business units
• Some experience working with large critical IT suppliers (i.e Infosys, cognizant, IBM)
• Analytical and logical nature, highly numerate with demonstrable experience of using Excel
• Demonstrate people management
• Ideally Degree or CIPS qualified
