One of the UKs most famous Hospitality Brands has an urgent requirement for an Interim IT Procurement Manager for Networks to join their procurement function.

This is an initial 6-month contract offering up to £600 inside IR35 some flexibility regarding home working with travel to Bedfordshire required.

Synopsys:

Responsible and accountable for the sourcing of IS services for Group requirements, total annual IS BAU spend plus project spend in the Network and Hardware Category. Also provide support to IT Software Category.

Working with stakeholders to create and implement strategies and to identify suppliers to deliver against specific objectives. Managing cost, build a category plan, quality and performance across the supply base and working with stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• Broad understanding of IS and associated procurement best practice
• Fully conversant with a broad range of sourcing strategies required to underpin corporate strategies for the IS categories
• Broad understanding of category management and ability to build a category plan.
• Procurement strategy development and implementation
• Sourcing plan development & implementation
• Procurement execution (business requirements analysis, market analysis, sourcing strategy, tender, negotiation, contract award, supplier management etc.)
• Procurement strategy development and implementation
• Sourcing plan development & implementation
• Procurement execution (business requirements analysis, market analysis, sourcing strategy, tender, negotiation, contract award, supplier management etc.)
• 3 years IS procurement experience.
• Educated to degree level
• Highly credible in front of the Executive, senior stakeholders and the executives of key suppliers
