Overview:

Are you an experienced MCIPS IT Procurement Professional?
Can you demonstrate running end to end Procurement activities within the IT and technology category.
1st Executive's client, a UK based Financial Services organisation would be keen to speak to you about their IT Procurement Manager role, which covers the entire IT subcategory.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead the IT procurement strategy within a well known financial services organisation.

Role:

Sitting within the Procurement function, based in the City of London, you will work autonomously, proactively seeking out stakeholders and getting involved in various procurement projects across the IT and technology categories looking at app development and maintenance, cloud, software, hardware and SaaS.

Responsibilities:

  • Following the end to end Procurement lifecycle process for the entire IT category, from business requirements to contract execution & performance management.
  • You will lead the strategic procurement process, providing direction and oversight to leverage the business' procurement power through robust contract negotiations, supplier selection and management of the commercial aspects of the 3rd party supplier relationships
  • You will ensure that the above delivers end-to-end commercial, contractual and relationship lifecycle value, in the eyes of key stakeholders and from the bottom line.
  • You'll report and track financial benefits versus pipeline and targets, identifying potential risks

Experience:

You will have strong broad IT Procurement experience and be able to demonstrate a track record of savings made.

You will ideally have worked in a regulated industry and possess demonstrable experience of challenging and influencing IT stakeholders.
