Role: Interim / Contract IT Procurement Manager - Software

Location: Preston / London

Salary: £550 - £600 p/d depending on experience inside IR35

Requirement: Immediate need for a a senior IT Procurement specialist within Software Category who can add support across complex and diverse project teams enabling mission critical MOD programmes to achieve success.

Function: Develop relationships with key project personnel to become the 'Point of Contact' for the diverse project teams.

Role Overview

This will be a fast paced position in a rapidly growing team who are emerging in a centralised procurement function for a significantly large and complex business. You will need strong stakeholder management skills and experience of significant change management.

You will look after the IT Procurement Software Category - business applications portfolio - broadly speaking most applications that you interact with on your desktop, suppliers like Microsoft and Adobe.

This role requires a strong individual with a solid professional knowledge and understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain management principles and practices, including an understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made to stakeholders and suppliers.

You will need to obtain SC Clearance to secure this role. UK National and have lived in the UK for the past 5 Years.
