Excellent IT procurement role offering an agile and collaborative environment, open to those wishing to relocate to Hamburg from within the EU.
Role Overview
Strategic responsibility for IT Procurement
Active contribution to innovation, efficiency and risk management across procurement processes
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies, including KPI definition and value tracking
Optimise contracts and volumes while driving process standardisation and efficiency
Manage suppliers and contracts professionally and sustainably
Support Vendor Management for IT and business process outsourcing initiatives (national & international)
Implement regulatory requirements, including DORA, in operational practice
Identify supplier risks early and define effective mitigation measures
Lead negotiations, from market screening and due diligence to pricing and contracts
Contribute to the ongoing development of Procurement & Vendor Management and cross-departmental projects
Your Profile
Vocational training in banking or a degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, IT, law, engineering)
Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic procurement of services
Strong experience with procurement suites and digitalised procurement processes
Confident communicator with assertiveness and strong conflict-management skills
Ideally familiar with banking regulation (MaRisk, EBA Guidelines, DORA)
Structured, independent and hands-on working style with high quality standards
Professional stakeholder and supplier management mindset
Very good German and English skills
