Excellent IT procurement role offering an agile and collaborative environment, open to those wishing to relocate to Hamburg from within the EU.

Role Overview

  • Strategic responsibility for IT Procurement

  • Active contribution to innovation, efficiency and risk management across procurement processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies, including KPI definition and value tracking

  • Optimise contracts and volumes while driving process standardisation and efficiency

  • Manage suppliers and contracts professionally and sustainably

  • Support Vendor Management for IT and business process outsourcing initiatives (national & international)

  • Implement regulatory requirements, including DORA, in operational practice

  • Identify supplier risks early and define effective mitigation measures

  • Lead negotiations, from market screening and due diligence to pricing and contracts

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Procurement & Vendor Management and cross-departmental projects

Your Profile

  • Vocational training in banking or a degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, IT, law, engineering)

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic procurement of services

  • Strong experience with procurement suites and digitalised procurement processes

  • Confident communicator with assertiveness and strong conflict-management skills

  • Ideally familiar with banking regulation (MaRisk, EBA Guidelines, DORA)

  • Structured, independent and hands-on working style with high quality standards

  • Professional stakeholder and supplier management mindset

  • Very good German and English skills
