IT Category Specialist - £50K

My client, a FTSE 250 food and drinks producer, are seeking a talented, ambitious procurement professional to join their team as an IT Category Specialist - £50K.

Role:

As the IT Category Specialist - £50K, you will support the Senior Category Manager across a spend of c£20M, covering broad spectrum of IT including software, hardware, networks and services. You will perform a mixture of BAU sourcing activity, as well as getting directly involved with strategic, business-critical procurement projects. You will also engage with and influence senior stakeholders across the business, and take ownership for developing and implementing category plans.

Experience:

• You will have strong indirect procurement experience, ideally with 3 - 5 years' experience in IT.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
• Some experience working in FMCG / Retail would be desirable.
• Ideally, Degree and / or CIPS qualified.
