IT Procurement Manager

Our Client a Major Global Organisation are seeking a highly experienced and driving Procurement Manager, who has strong skills across Software and Hardware Purchasing.

This role will support the management of third-party expenditure around the World. As a senior procurement officer, sitting in the strategic procurement team, the IT Procurement Manager is expected to provide expert advice to business stakeholders on procurement events and strategies.

Key skills required:

This role will also support the identification and delivery of group wide synergies of all the key businesses across the Group.

Working in conjunction with other Procurement Managers and Category Leads in multiple countries, this role will require the candidate to manage the procurement process on behalf of internal customers.

Develop and own the strategy within the IT Category in line with internal stakeholder and Head of Procurement's requirements.

Negotiate, draft and review contracts for goods/services within assigned categories, to maximize cost reduction, timely delivery and consistent quality of products and services

Build and manage the relationship with internal customers to meet / exceed expectations.

Lead and coordinate sourcing activities within the Enterprise Systems portfolio.

Manage Supplier relationships, including implementing appropriate supplier management techniques

Ensure clear communication of agreed strategies, procurement updates and contract information.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will be of degree calibre in IT, Business Studies or Procurement and MCIPS Qualified

Excellent Negotiation and Strategic Sourcing ability.

Ability to lead, prioritise and manage complex projects

Must have the ability to make decisions independently and knowledge of when to escalate issues.

Ability to manage and analyse complex data under pressure

Additional language skills would be an advantage.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office IT packages - (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as advanced research and analytical skills are required.
