IT Business Analyst

Our client a Major Global Retail Services Organisation based in West London, currently requires an IT Business Analyst to engage with stakeholders within the European business to identify opportunities where technology can be used to deliver value and support the development of sound business cases.

Key responsibilities:

IT Business Analyst will work with Business Partners and other Business Analysts to discover, assess and capture the needs across the business

Excellent and proven ability to work closely with stakeholders, with strong understanding of technology - particularly around integration, data analytics and databases

Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly acquire and understand a problem/situation and provide options/recommendations

Experience of building something from start and offering value added advice and assistance

Experience of working within a project management framework is essential, and direct project management experience is desirable

Experience in typical business analyst toolsets e.g. Visio, MS Office Suite, Confluence/Jira

Experience of working on con-current initiatives and projects

Person Specification:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels, particularly in 'business facing' delivery with 'non-technical' individuals/teams e.g. Sales

Knowledge of data & analytics, app development, web/ecommerce

Create solutions that will deliver tangible business results. The IT Business Analyst must have exceptional stakeholder management and requirement gathering experience.

You must be a talented business analyst who is a proactive, self-starter with a "can do" attitude.

Demonstrable experience as a business analyst in a customer/consumer driven business e.g. Retail, FMCG
