Interim Supplier Manager - £415pd

A great opportunity to be central to my FTSE 100 Energy leader's Digital Talent transformation, in an Interim Supplier Manager role critical to ensuring excellence, compliance and innovation in their engagement of resources.

This organisation is at the forefront of their field in terms of sustainability, with aims to become carbon neutral by 2050, and huge amounts of investment going sustainable solutions and the truly cutting-edge tech to support this.

This is an initial contract until the end of December 2022, offering up to £415 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35), with a flexible and pragmatic approach to working from home and in their offices in South-East England where needed.

The Role:

As part of my client's innovative Talent strategy aims, they are looking to ensure that third party resources are engaged as part of their centralised demand programme, rather than externally. This delivery-focused role will drive the transformation away from the use of service companies to a more centralised model.

As Interim Supplier Manager, you will hold responsibility over c. 2-3k resources currently engaged via consultancies, managing the space, ensuring contract compliance and looking at release orders.

You will carry out negotiations around changes to rates and resource Terms of Engagement. You will work closely with suppliers to support with invoicing and billing processes.

A series of relationship management meetings will take place between my client's leadership team and the suppliers; this role would input into meeting packs, performance measures, and KPIs. You will review what has been delivered, the ease of delivery, and the shape of the relationship between my client and their suppliers.

You will liaise with suppliers on demand planning, truly understanding requirements, timelines, and the best-fit format.

Finally, this role will require you to carry out some contract interpretation work, particularly in the Right of Ownership space, and provide some support for legal cases.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' Supplier / Vendor Management experience.
  • Previous contract compliance experience.
  • Experience within a small to medium sized firm, within a similar capacity.
  • Strong skills of communication and engagement.

If interested, please apply ASAP. Any questions, please email claire.shipman@1st-executive.com
