Interim Strategic Sourcing Manager

Interim Strategic Sourcing Manager required for an initial 6 month contract with a Global Financial Services leader.

The role is responsible for executing a variety of strategic sourcing projects across a number of procurement categories with varying levels of spend and risk.

These projects will deliver cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation.

You will be responsible for the execution of eSourcing and for delivering incremental value to the business through eAuctions.

Post contract value opportunities will be identified and delivered through working with the business and supply base.

This role will work across a variety of categories so you will need to demonstrate a broad range of category knowledge and be able to work dynamically and flexibly with a range of SMEs.

The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement with proactive engagement to foster new and existing relationships.

To be considered you must;

• Have at least 2 years experience of leading UK sourcing projects for services within a complex organisation
• Be degree qualified ideally with and advanced degree
• Ideally MCIPS qualified (desirable)
• Financial Services background (desirable but not essential)
