Interim Senior Sourcing Manager - HR £580pd REMOTE

A fantastic Interim opportunity for a Senior Sourcing Manager to join a FTSE 100 Pharmaceutical major, and provide business-critical support on their HR category strategies and business efficiency.

It's an exciting time to be joining this world-leading organisation, who recently underwent massive corporate transformation, and subsequently need to review relationships and ensure robust contracts are in place.

Offering remote working and £580 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), this position is running until the end of January 2023, with some scope for extension or potential permanency.

The Role:

This global role will be required to Business Partner with Senior Global Stakeholders to understand the pipeline and determine value generation in HR and Staffing Services. You will develop truly innovative and disruptive category strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings.

In this full-lifecycle position, you will carry out strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract management, risk identification and mitigation. You will determine sourcing approaches and champion continuous improvement across in-house, third party and outsourcing solutions.

Collaborating closely with global teams, you will leverage synergies with procurement categories, including Professional Services and IT, to encourage value-add.

You will manage the global supply base for HR and Staffing categories, through application of a robust performance management process.

Driving supplier diversity, following the transformation, you will review relationships in place and ensure the right contracts are set up.

Requirements:

  • Strong sourcing experience, particularly within HR and Staffing Services, coupled with the ability to support multiple categories.
  • A track record of engaging effectively with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience within a global, matrix environment.
  • A good understanding of Procure to Pay and Spend Analysis systems.
  • Supplier and Performance management experience, with the ability to develop new supplier relationships.
