Role: Interim Senior Procurement Manager Construction

Rate: up to £650 p/d inside IR35

Location: Hybrid - London 3 days per week

Client: Central Government

Duration: 6 months initially

Role

As Interim Senior Commercial Manager Construction you will lead the development of the Procurement Strategy with a value of £1.5bn for High Value Construction Works, MEP, Conservation and Low Value works.

You will be driving commercial and procurement activities in and around the Palace of Westminster for Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Fire (MEPF) and Stonework Conservation & Flat Roofs (SC&RF) programmes with an estimated spend of £790m and £850m respectively.

The role requires extensive NEC and Constrcuction Procurement experience.

Key competencies:

1. Deep and extensive NEC experience
2. Extensive experience of Construction - Mechanical, Electrical and Civil
3. Experience of running Construction Procurement Programmes
4. Experience of using esourcing systems
5. Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
6. Ability to take a hands-on approach to the role
