Role: Interim Senior Procurement Buyer - Energy

Industry: FMCG - FTSE 100

Rate: £40 p/h inside IR35

Contract Length: To the end of 2022

Location: Surrey / WFH

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced professional who enjoys working closely with the business units and supply base to drive strong value delivery and collaborative partnerships.

The EMEA Procurement Energy Senior Buyer is responsible for the day to day category, negotiations and contract management of Energy combined with a strong focus on process improvement, driving best practice and contributing to sustainability focus in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the negotiation and implementation of Energy Procurement contracts
Manage energy contracts through ETQ and comply with any other administrative requirements
Work alongside the current team to support in these other areas:
- the tendering processes and negotiations of sustainability and energy supply projects/contracts
- the activity with strategic partners
And possibly around:
- the development of strategies including the overall Category Strategy for Energy
- the energy procurement strategy deployment with stakeholders
- lead the incorporation of best practices into MEA countries (data managing tools, forecasts, etc.)

Skills / Requirements:

• 
  Bachelor's degree and a proven Procurement experience (minimum requirement)
  * Five year's Procurement experience (minimum requirement)
  * Relevant experience in the area of Energy (minimum requirement)
  * Proven negotiation and commercial skills
  * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and build collaborative relationships in a complex, multicultural organisation.
  * Excellent presentation skills
  * Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
  * Experienced and capable influencer of peers and senior managers
