We have a fantastic job opportunity for you to join a company to specialise exclusively in the development and operation of luxury outlet shopping destinations in Europe.

This is a contract is for 9 months, offering up to £750 per day (outside of IR35), based primarily on side with the client with international travel and some flexibility to work from home.

About you:

You are highly analytical and experience in environmental standard and regularly reporting on targets, trends and corrective actions. You will Develop and implement environmental strategies, and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable development and taking the lead on establishing and monitoring sustainable procurement for all goods and services.

Other traits you will coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, water metering and energy metering, the same time leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices.

Your technical skills include:

  • Previous experience as an Environmental Manager, preferably in a high risk environment such as construction, but all backgrounds will be considered
  • Previous experience in working for a Global organization, ensuring extensive experience in managing risks across a global asset portfolio in multiple countries in particular mainland Europe
  • Experienced Environmental Manager with strong Environmental Compliance and Management knowledge experience and qualifications and experience in implementing procedures and processes in accordance with ISO14001 standards.

Essential competency / experience:

  • Chartered Engineer or Environmental Specialist with professional membership of environmental organization (Soc Env, IEMA, CIWEM, CIWM, CIEEM)
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO 14001 and experience in auditing of environmental legislation
  • Experience with BREEAM and / or CEEQUAL
  • Demonstrative experience of delivering environmental training, both at a leadership team level and onsite to construction teams and asset management individuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, taking a 'hands on' approach to influencing colleagues, encouraging change and driving environmental standards
  • Experience of working collaborative with Security, Risk and Health and Safety professionals in a team environment and aligning all Environmental Compliance and Management Process with existing risk management processes and procedures.
  • Analytical & results focused with ability to use data to highlight trends and regularly monitor and report the performance of each business unit.
  • Experience in obtaining and analysing environmental data from manual readings and application programmimg interface (API)
  • Experience and knowledge of sustainability and carbon disclosures, including GRI, GRESB, TCFD, CDP. GHG Protocol Requirements, ESOS, SECR and CRREM.
