Role: Senior Credit Research Analyst

Rate: £514 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: FTSE 100 Energy Organisation

Duration: ASAP to end of July 2024

Location: Hybrid - Working from home and London.

An Interim Credit Research Analyst for fundamental credit views and analysis to support this Energy leader's Commercial and Credit Portfolio Management strategies, including development of Counterparty Credit Ratings and reviews.

You will partner closely with local and global credit staff on business and growth strategy, align underwriting approach, and inform risk management.

Accountabilities:

• Analyse Counterparties and assign credit ratings.
• Prioiritise and organise Counterparty Credit Models and reviews.
• Understand the impact of the relevant Business Unit's place within the overall capital structure.
• Maintain an awareness of commercial origination opportunities.
• Maintain Counterparty ratings and reference data.
• Foster strong relationships with local and global Credit staff and external, key contacts.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Credit Research across geographies.
• Fluent in Financial Modeling and Credit Rating best practice.
• Degree or relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• Previous experience in a large, matrix organisation.
• Strong communication ability to a senior level.
