You are an experienced Sustainability subject matter expert on energy metering, energy data analysis, carbon data internal and external verification, carbon accounting, CRREM Pathway Reporting, GRESB Reporting, GRI Index Reporting providing climate and sustainability reporting leadership and guidance to colleagues across the business and key external stakeholders.

Role: Interim Senior Carbon Reporting Manager

Location: Hybrid

Salary: up to £850 per day (Outside of IR35)

About you:

You will provide expertise on CRREAM pathway and Energy and Carbon accounting and reporting matters to and central teams to enable local and overarching commitments to decarbonization to be achieved Assist in development of robust Data Management and Verification processes using expert knowledge and analysis of TCFD, CRREM, GRESB, GRI and other appropriate standards as outlined in detail below.

Your technical skills include:

• Experience and knowledge of sustainability and carbon disclosures, including GRI, GRESB, TCFD, CDP. GHG Protocol Requirements, ESOS, SECR and CRREM.
• Experience of working with CRREM standards and ability to break down overarching requirements into annual and divisional plans
• Chartered Engineer (CIBSE, IET, EI) with 15-20 years' experience in energy and carbon management, accounting, verification, and reporting
• Proven experience in the use of Credit 360, Measurable, Sphera or other proprietary energy and carbon accounting software tools
• Experience of gathering data from internal and supply chain partners and ability to interpret, analyse and manipulate large volumes of data
• Experience in obtaining and analysing data from manual meter readings and application programming
• Experience with scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions measurement including detailed knowledge of science-based target setting
• Experience working in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) third-party external verification organizations
• Experienced Sustainability Manager familiar with Real Estate and Retail challenges and required standards
• Experience of working with CRREM standards and ability to break down overarching requirements into annual and divisional plans
• Experience of GRESB, BREEAM and BREEAM in USE in retail and real estate
