Are you skilled at leading transformation within a function, and enjoy the freedom to create, define and implement wide ranging procurement strategies and influence stakeholders across cross functional teams including multiple divisions, companies and countries?
You will be based in Dublin and working within a Global 500 building materials business, employing 90,000 people across c.3,500 operating locations in over 30 countries. Our client manufactures and supplies a range of integrated building materials, products and innovative solutions which can be found throughout the built environment, from major public infrastructure projects to commercial buildings and residential structures.
The role will see you involved in the procurement of indirect categories with a main focus on HR, temporary labour, consultancy and travel & expenses.
You will carry out strategy development and execution under the leadership of the Global Category Manager and be the functional manager of a team of three Local Category Managers (on dotted line).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as category manager of indirect spend in a large, complex multi-country organization, preferably in the area of professional / corporate services
- Demonstrable track record in managing significant category spends in HR, Consultancy and travel
- Stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams across a matrix
- European/Global scope focused role
Based in Dublin with global travel. The contract is on an initial 3 month rolling basis and offers a competitive salary.
