A key client of 1st executive, a hugely successful and well-known Global500 Manufacturing company and industry leader, are looking for a Quality Engineer to join them. This is a 6-month contract, paying between £225-250p/d and based in Warwickshire. An exciting opportunity for any Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in this area, looking to work for one of the most interesting, mature and diverse procurement functions globally.

Role:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all quality assurance functions for assigned product lines
• Direct and coordinate the overall quality specifications and standards for materials, processes, and finished products to meet customer purchase order requirements
• Plan and coordinate the activities of quality staff by managing: Complaint Data, Compliance Planning, Execution, and Effectiveness Checks, Complaint file Closure and Trending
• Support optimization of quality systems procedures
• Develop and implement quality metrics to drive manufacturing improvements and business results
• Liaise with customers and suppliers when necessary for quality issues
• Assist other departments in formulating new products, establishing standards for these products prior to initial production
• Responsible for the administration of the quality system such as applicable ISO standards

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years+ experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance
• Manufacturing background/industry experience
• ISO processes and standards experience
• A team oriented individual who enjoys challenges
• Complaint Data/Compliance Planning experience is highly desirable
