A large public sector body has an urgent requirement for an experienced Interim Project Manager to manage the project on a day to day basis to deliver the required products within the constraints agreed by the Project Board.

This is an initial 6-month Interim contract offering up to £400 p/d for a candidate to be based in Bristol.

Key attributes/accountabilities

• The ideal candidate will have recent experience of Project Management in a local council environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing the successful delivery of a project on time, to budget and of the right quality through appropriate use of standard project management methodology.
• Ability to lead the business in exploring options, fully costing these and identifying realistic and measurable project benefits (including establishing suitable benefit owners and putting in place appropriate benefit realisation plans) to support informed decision making.
