Interim Project Engineer £478pd

A fantastic interim opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a FTSE 100 leader in FMCG, and provide crucial Capital Project support.

This is a 12 month contract, offering up to £478 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and on site in Belfast.

The Role:

As part of the Global Brands Supply and Project Engineering Team, you will provide key support to the successful delivery of CAPEX projects for Manufacturing sites. This will include:

• Working closely with Teams across functions to develop requirement specifications.
• Drive the delivery of CAPEX projects to the correct technical specifications.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates and manage efficient spend across CAPEX projects.
• Oversee and co-ordinate external resources and commissioning activity.
• Full-lifecycle Project Management, including capital approval, maintenance of accurate financial data, and project closure.
• Ensure compliance with relevant H&S and environmental requirements.

Requirements:

• Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering background.
• Strong Capital Project experience.
• Strong communication and engagement ability, with cross-functional stakeholders to a senior level.
• Previous experience within a global, matrix organisation.
