Interim Procurement Specialist £275pd

An exciting interim opportunity for an Procurement Specialist to support my FTSE 100 FMCG client's tendering, for their label supply portfolio.

This full-time role runs until April 2023, offering up to £34.70 per hour (inside IR35, through Umbrella), with an entirely flexible approach to working from home and in their offices in either London or Scotland.

The Role:

The Procurement Specialist will sit in a team responsible for long term strategic sourcing on a global basis. This will be a hands-on role, central to their corporate-wide, global, label tenders across 7k different components.

You will support the label supplier portfolio tender, by connecting with over 20 different markets and support on analysing the different scenarios, through supplier awareness.

You will determine whether suppliers have the required capabilities, meet the specifications, what any savings and outcomes would be, and make informed recommendations from this.

Requirements:

• Tendering experience with exposure to Directs. Advantageous would be any experience with packaging.
• Prior experience with an E-sourcing tool.
• Data analysis experience.
• The ability to engage with key suppliers and senior stakeholders across functions.
