Interim Procurement Manager Wells £465pd

Role: Wells Procurement Advisor

Rate: £465 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: Global Oil & Gas organisation.

Location: South-East England

Duration: 12 months.

A Procurement Manager role to join a FTSE 100 Energy company holding responsibility for Wells and Subsurface, Drilling and Intervention, for a specific region.

You will provide oversight on end-to-end Procurement and Contracting for the region, understanding market intelligence, carrying out supplier management, and liaising with Completion and Intervention Engineers.

You will work closely with Business-facing Teams to identify demand, before translating it into something workable for the Supply-facing Team to build a strategy, as well as supporting the Tactical Procurement Team who deliver the transactional work.

Requirements:

• Engineering background, ideally within Wells, in Maintenance and Construction.
• End-to-end Procurement and Contracting process understanding.
• 4 years' + procurement experience with the ability to co-ordinate and manage projects.
• Prior experience in large, complex organisations, across regions.
• Oil & Gas industry background preferred.
