Interim Procurement Manager - Logistics £360pd

A fantastic interim opportunity for a Procurement Manager with Logistics category expertise, to join a world-leading FMCG company, and play a leading role in end-to-end sourcing.

An initial contract to the end of 2022, offering up to £360 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and in their Edinburgh office.

The Role:

As Interim Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivery of Procurement outcomes for Ireland logistics. You will lead and support sourcing activities associated with Logistics, supporting on the end-to-end management through to execution of works, including Supplier performance management, stakeholders management, risk management, updates and escalation.

Working closely with Procurement Managers and key, senior stakeholders, you will ensure delivery against KPIs, including contract completion, responsible sourcing, inflation mitigation and productivity delivery.

You will also identify and manage opportunities and risk throughout the project.

Requirements:

• 5 years' + Procurement experience and extensive experience in Logistics Procurement.
• Prior track record within a procurement project environment, executing in line with category strategies and with cross-functional teams.
• Supplier Management experience.
• Analytical and financial awareness, alongside a background in generating insights to inform decision making.
• Excellent communication ability, confident engaging with senior level stakeholders.
