Interim Procurement Manager - £550 per day (inside ir35)

My client, a prestigious public sector organisation, are currently recruiting a knowledgeable Procurement Manager with current SC Clearance, to join their team on an interim basis. You will provide support during a critical period for a number of large, ongoing projects.

This role is paying up to £550 inside IR35 depending on experience, based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a commercial team to deliver programme objectives and achieve targets within timescales
• Developing relationships with suppliers
• Putting together and issuing tenders and administering contract amendments
• prving commercial guidance to the bsuienss
• Ensuring procurement activities are within budget
• Ensure compliance with best practice and regulations

Requirements:

• Current, valid SC Clearance is essential
• Strong demonstrable procurement experience
• Experience of developing improved tender documents, policies or processes
• Experience with etendering and evaluation tools
