Interim Procurement Compliance / Category Officer required to join a Local Authority based in the Bedfordshire on an initial 6 month contract paying up to £350 per day inside IR35.

My client is currently undergoing a procurement transformation and are in the process of running a cross-category compliance project across the procurement function. There is a project team in place already but due to the workload they urgently need additional support. The role will not involve any sourcing and instead will solely focus on contract compliance.

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Procurement compliance experience
  • Previous experience building or managing contract registers
  • Local authority procurement experience with a strong understanding of Local Authority compliance requirements i.e. transparency, Contract Procedure Rules etc.
  • Previous experience using the IN-TEND e-tendering software package

Rate: Up to £350 per day (inside IR35)

Duration: Initial 6 months
