Interim Procurement and Inventory Planner - £164pd (Umbrella)

An exciting opportunity to join a leading energy organisation and play a key role in supporting the Material Manager and Logistic Manager with procurement of spare parts and inventory tracking.

This role is a 6-month contract, paying up to £20.50 per hour (through umbrella company), based in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating purchase orders and liaising with vendors to expedite delivery

  • Manage your own KPIs including on-time delivery

  • Communicate with customers on parts availability and resolve any issues with supply chain

  • Provide support to thelogistic team when physical handling is needed on site

  • Refresh weekly files for the procurement and inventory KPIs

  • Support local stock transfer between sites and global allocation of material

  • Partner with relevant teams to drive inventory initiatives across the business, identify depletion opportunities and reduce inventory obsolescence risk

  • Support On time delivery initiative by driving internal processes improvement


Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma/GED
  • 4 years' experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • 2+ years' experience with advanced data analysis tools
  • 2+ years experience Excel and Access, working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior leadership
  • Demosntrable ability to drive and manage change in a global environment
  • Strong communicaiton and engagement skills at all levels
  • Experienced user of data management tools e.g. MS Access / MS Excel / SAP / Alteryx / Smoothie
  • Experienced developing data analytics
