Interim Principal Accountant - £400 per day (inside IR35)

My Client, a large public sector organisation in South West England, are recruiting an Interim Principal Accountant, to manage and provide financial and management accounting services.

This role is paying up to £400 per day (inside IR35), running until March 2020.

Accountabilities:

• Manage and deliver accounting services including budgeting, financial planning, project support, forecasting and reporting
• Developing strong stakeholder relationships
• Drive business improvement and efficiency
• Review and develop financial control procedures
  
  

Requirements:

• Accountancy experiency, preferably in a public sector environment, with experience resolving technical issues
• Qualified Accountant and memeber of CCAB or equivalent
• Strong stakehodler engagement skills
• Experience managing a team of finance staff
• Knowledge of tendering or other procurement activities within local government
