Interim Planning and Performance Finance Analyst £419pd

A fantastic interim opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a world-leader in energy, and drive performance and innovative improvement and transformation ideas within Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging.

This organisation is at the forefront of its field in sustainability, with true aims for carbon neutrality by 2050 and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy and the cutting-edge tech to support.

This is a contract initially running until the end of February 2023, offering up to £419pd (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and in their office in London.

The Role:

As Interim Planning and Performance Management (PPM) Finance Analyst, you will sit in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment, in a Business unit which is rapidly expanding on a truly global basis.

This will be a hands-on role, where you will support the PPM Manager with monthly Actuals, the planning process, and core performance data, including the Financial Outlook Process, financial and non-financial metrics. Your focus will be on performance monitoring, provision of analysis, insight and support to drive performance improvement.

  • Prepare the monthly report and analyse drivers for variances and forecasting.
  • Load monthly Actuals into the financial data system.
  • Consolidate all EV non-financial metrics for input to Executive and VP monthly dashboards.
  • Support Financial Outlook processes.
  • Hold responsibility for Capital Expenditure pipeline.
  • Track recharges and allocation, analysing any variances.
  • Drive improvement of the performance management process.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial analysis ability, ideally with experience with Big 4 consultancies (Deloitte, EY, KMPG or PWC).
  • Ability to create meaningful insight from data analysis, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
