Interim O&M Director - UK

Role Overview

Lead and develop national operations for a large renewable energy asset portfolio, ensuring strong operational performance, customer satisfaction and commercial outcomes. This is an initial 6 months contract term.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the country O&M strategy aligned with regional objectives

• Own national O&M P&L, including budgeting, cost control and margin improvement

• Oversee delivery of all operations and maintenance activities across the portfolio

• Ensure asset availability, performance and energy yield targets are met

• Lead and develop operational teams and external service providers

• Manage relationships with asset owners, partners, suppliers and regulators

• Identify opportunities for contract expansion, asset upgrades and optimisation

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

• Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation plans

• Report operational and financial performance to regional leadership

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

• Significant experience in renewable energy or infrastructure O&M

• Strong technical understanding of asset operations and monitoring systems

• Proven P&L and operational leadership experience

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

• Fluent English and willingness to travel
