Interim NEC Commercial Manager £625pd Inside IR35

Role: Interim Commercial Manager - NEC

Client: Major Public Sector Organisation

Rate: £625 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Location: Hybrid working from home and c. 2 days per week in London

Duration: 6 months, with scope for incremental extensions.

An Interim Commercial Manager, to be a key player in the Capital Procurement Team of an esteemed Public Sector organisation. This team leads the procurement of construction and associated services with, £multi-bn spend responsibility.

You will drive the end-to-end, strategic Commercial direction for programmes, including concept, strategy, contract development and Procurement.

This role will develop a strategy and procurement of a design and build contractor for multiple upgrade projects, and major highways and structure projects.

Requirements:

• Strong Commercial Manager with major Public Sector background.
• Capital Project and Construction procurement project expertise.
• Practical understanding and experience of NEC3 contracts.
• Experience with the Professional Services Contract and Engineering & Construction Contract.
• Gravitas and ability to deal with Senior Leadership Team level stakeholders.
