Interim Master Data Management Program Lead

One of the world's largest and most innovative sustainable technology firms has an urgent requirement for an Interim Master Data Management Program Lead.

This is an initial contract to the end of the year offering up to £500 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella) offering hybrid working between WFH and Watford offices.

Role:

The Master Data Program Lead is accountable to develop and refining the Master Data Governance design, taxonomy and processes and will drive a joint programme between IT and Global Business Service.

In that role, the position holder drives the design and subsequent implementation while assuring ongoing oversight of the data governance programme and its successful delivery. The programme entails the full spectrum of master data processes, technology, organisation and policies.

The roleholder will work directly and closely with the Global Master Data leadership team, IT leadership team, program managers, project sub-teams and business leaders to ensure a successful programme. The roleholder understands the medical device industry and related regulations.

You will:

• Designing, establishing and maintaining the Master Data Governance through the leadership of a largescale and overarching Master Data Management governance programme.
• Defining and aligning processes, roles and responsibilities, technology roadmaps and organisational structures.
• Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and applying change management practices.
• Responsible for successfully managing multiple project timelines to deliver the Master Data Management transformation efforts.
• Identifying, analysing and reporting key performance metrics related to the program.
• Preparing, gaining approval of, refining and updating business cases and risk registers.
• Developing and agreeing on budgets for projects and controlling forecast and actual costs.
• Identifying and monitoring project risks (threats and opportunities), and implementing mitigation actions
• Establishing and implementing where necessary, protocols to change the scope of projects, updating configuration documents as required

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality or Master Data Management.
• 5+ years of project and programme management experience of complex, global initiatives in a corporate setup
• Applied experience to design and implementation of MDM governance models
• Experience in capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
• Certified Program Management Tools and Methodologies
