Interim Maintenance Engineer £195pd

A fantastic interim opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a FTSE 100 FMCG organisation, as part of their compliance team for Global and Site Engineering CAPEX projects.

This is a 12-month contract, offering £195 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), based on site in Leven, with some flexibility.

The Role:

As Interim Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with the Site Engineering Maintenance Manager, the CAPEX Team, Maintenance Technicians, the Compliance Team, Schedulers, Planners and Stores Personnel.

This role will focus on Early Equipment Management, ensuring integration into the system for Asset or Equipment structures, both Parent and Children. You will ensure maintenance plans are robust, integrate these into the SAP structure, with frequency and labour requirements.

You will carry out retrospective work for ongoing CAPEX projects on site. Determining the correct spares, you will ensure the necessary stock is on site. There will be some requirement to work with external stakeholders, including equipment suppliers, to determine the necessary maintenance for any kit.

Requirements:

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with 2-3 years hands-on experience with relevant tools.
• Strong experience in Maintenance activities and developing Preventative Maintenance Plans.
• Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, ideally SAP.
• Good skills with MS Office, including Excel.
• Confident liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders to a senior level.
